Covid19 Dashboard

Since December 2019, the world has been facing the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its associated disease COVID-19, its consequences and also fatal outcomes. This paper analyses, on the basis of freely available datasets, a possible connection between the regional ageing of German districts and the severity of COVID-19 courses there in the form of hospitalisation. This correlation is examined and presented by using different visualisation methods. Based on the data and generated visualisations, no clear correlation between the regional ageing of a district and its hospitalisation could be established.
