The Earth Observation College's MOOC "Beyond the Visible - Imaging Spectroscopy for Agricultural Applications" was an great opportunity to gain knowledge about remote sensing and its applications for agriculture. The course offered the opportunity to gain insight into how Imaging Spectroscopy data can be used for Agricultural Applications. I learned how to use remote sensing data to understand the physical and chemical factors that control reflectance and what software to use for the analysis. I also learned which methods to use in an agricultural context and finally how to analyse an imaging spectroscopy dataset. Overall, this course was a great experience that helped me understand the potential of remote sensing for agricultural applications.
